Global Schools is an initiative of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN Youth) in partnership with theGoals.org and the SDGs Academy (formerly SDSN.edu). The project challenges local institutions to train college and university studentleaders (as volunteers) to deliver fun and interactive workshops on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in local schools (primary and secondary).
Empower young people to educate the next generation of school students about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
With half of the world’s population under 30 years of age, the need for empowering youth globally is a prerequisite for the successful implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, to harness the power of today’s youth, there is an urgent need to educate the next generation of young people about the importance of the SDGs and their implementation, in particular, school students.
